According to recent reports from The Telegraph, black Chritmas trees from retailers such as Tesco have already proved to be more popular than ever this year. Tesco has reported selling more artificial trees then new ones with the most predominant selling colour being Black as has rival retailer John Lewis. Seems like owning a black Christmas tree is very much en vogue this year!
Newly appointed president Obahama and his family receive their first Christmas tree. Americas First Lady was presented with a tree from Shepherdstown, West Virginia. The 18 ½ ft Douglas- real fir arrived via a horse drawn carriage. The tree is destined to be on display in The Whitehouses’ Blue Room. Happy Christmas America!

Many of Pooles residents are upset with their new tree with some saying it looks like a witch’s hat. The giant tree is artificial. After years of worrying that previous natural trees would fall over in high winds, they decided to buy an artificial tree for £14,000! (yes, that much, weighed down with 2 ton of concrete).
